GreenBytes to Showcase vIO Desktop Virtualization Solution at CeBIT

GreenBytes, Inc., a developer of full-featured virtual desktop solutions that uniquely support existing infrastructure, today announced that the company will be exhibiting at CeBIT, March 5-9, in Hannover, Germany. GreenBytes will be demonstrating its recently announced desktop virtualization solution, vIO, and will exhibit alongside Germany-based reseller partner Losstech as part of the comTeam booth located in Hall 15, Stand F79.
The GreenBytes vIO, a virtual storage appliance version of the company's award-winning IO Offload Engine, was designed from the ground up as a desktop virtualization solution, providing the full-featured persistent virtual desktops that users want, with the manageability, scalability and affordability that make it possible. The solution diverts OS and swap disk activity away from primary storage (SAN) to high-speed flash, solving the performance and latency problems and poor user experience that occur during peak usage.
