Pierre-Olivier Beckers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Delhaize Group, commented: "As indicated in January, our financial results in 2012 were within guidance. We are particularly pleased by our strong free cash flow generation and we believe that we will generate an average of approximately EUR500 million free cash flow per annum over 2013-2015."
"In 2013, we will remain focused on accelerating the progress at Food Lion, revitalizing Delhaize Belgium and driving growth in Southeastern Europe. We aim to remain relevant to our customers, continuing our sustainable price policies and accelerating revenue growth. We will fund this through a combination of disciplined capital allocation and cost control. The decision to decrease the dividend this year is a clear example of Delhaize Group's commitment to maintaining its financial strength and achieving revenue growth."
"We remain encouraged by the continuation of several positive trends we experienced during the fourth quarter of 2012, particularly in the U.S. Over time, we believe that Delhaize Group has the ability to improve its operating performance in all of its markets, by staying focused on sustainable revenue growth and strict cost management. We are looking forward to provide further updates on our strategic progress on May 8 at the occasion of our Q1 release and Capital Markets Day."

IFC Study Finds Indian Small and Medium Enterprises have Huge Unmet Financing Demand

New Delhi, India - IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has released a new study that finds financial institutions meet only one-fourth of the financing demand of micro, small and medium enterprises in India, noting that a sizeable part of this unfulfilled opportunity is viable.

The study estimates the overall finance shortfall for micro, small and medium enterprises to be over $ 400 billion. Formal sources are able to channel only $ 140 billion. Banks can address the sectors debt and equity financing requirement of over $ 70 billion, it estimates.

The study , Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Finance in India: A Research Study on Needs, Gaps and Way Forward, recommends a mix of well-rounded fiscal support, strong policy framework and incentives promoting innovation to significantly expand formal financing to these enterprises. The study is available at http://www1.ifc.org/wps/wcm/connect/region__ext_content/regions/south+asia/publications/msme+report.

Micro, small and medium enterprise sector has the potential to stimulate growth, said S. Muhnot, Chairman and Managing Director, Small Industries and Development Bank of India. With adequate financial resources and specialized skill development, the sector can grow manifold and contribute to the economy.

There are an estimated 30 million micro, small and medium enterprises across industries, employing 69 million people. The sector accounts for 45 percent of industrial output, and has been growing consistently at over 11 percent a year, higher than Indias overall economic growth. Inadequate financing and market linkages constrain growth of these businesses. The study, jointly undertaken by IFC with the government of Japan, outlines potential interventions to address their biggest challenge of accessing finance.

The study provides a framework for the financial sector and policy makers to develop appropriate and innovative products and services that will ensure easier flow of capital to these smaller businesses, said Anil Sinha, IFCs General Manager for Advisory Services in South Asia.

Micro, small and medium enterprises are an essential focus of IFCs work in South Asia. In addition to making investments in private sector projects, IFC works with governments to improve investment climate, builds skills of local entrepreneurs, and promotes access to finance and markets for small businesses.

About IFC
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. We help developing countries achieve sustainable growth by financing investment, mobilizing capital in international financial markets, and providing advisory services to businesses and governments. In FY12, our investments reached an all-time high of more than $20 billion, leveraging the power of the private sector to create jobs, spark innovation, and tackle the worlds most pressing development challenges. Hygienists Introduce High Tech Equipment To Kill & Remove Toxic Mold in USA & Asia

Industrial and environmental hygienists Phillip Fry, Divine Fry, Hank Taylor, and Merley Taylor announce the introduction of the latest high tech equipment to kill and remove toxic mold, household mold, and bacterial growth in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas, nationwide USA, Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

The first and last steps in high tech mold and environmental remediation should be the safe use of high output ozone gas to kill airborne mold spores, HVAC mold growth, mold volatile organic compounds (VOCs), chemical VOCs, and surface mold and bacterial growth, recommends Phillip Fry, author of five mold advice ebooks, which are available at http://www.moldmart.net.

The second step should be to use a mold fogging machine or sprayer to fog or spray a mold-killing fungicide such as boric acid powder or Tim-Bor on all visible mold growth, plus inside heating/cooling equipment and ducts, crawl spaces, basements, and attics, advises Hank Taylor, who has 25 years of experience in mold removal in California and now throughout Asia.

The third high-tech step should be the use of special air scrubbers containing an activated carbon filter to remove dangerous mold VOCs (airborne poisons emitted by toxic mold growth) plus a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter to remove airborne mold spores, dust, and other airborne pollutants, adds Mr. Fry, who has 14 years of experience in mold removal throughout the USA, Canada, and Asia.

Safe and effective mold killing and mold removal also involves a number of additional steps such as proper containment of the work area, maintaining negative air pressure inside the containment area, proper disposal of removed moldy building materials, and full safety gear for mold remediation workers such as an organic vapor-filtered breathing respirator, eye goggles with no holes, protective body suit, hood, gloves, and booties.

For mold removal anywhere in California, Nevada, Arizona, or nationwide USA, contact Phillip Fry 1-480-217-7173 or 1-480-310-7970, or email phil@moldinspector.com. Visit the Frys websites www.moldexpertconsultants.com and www.moldinspector.com.

For mold removal anywhere in Manila, Philippines, or anywhere else in Southeast Asia, please contact Mrs. Merley Martinez Taylor at 63-912-481-7637, or email: moldmen@att.net. Visit the Taylors websites www.mold.ph and www.moldmarines.com.

Thermal Technology Ships 14 K1 Sapphire Crystal Growers to Europe

Thermal Technology, a leading manufacturer of crystal growth equipment and high temperature furnace systems, recently shipped 14 K1 HB LED-grade sapphire crystal growers to a customer in Europe. The K1s large 90kg sapphire boule is optimized for 4 and 6 cores used in LED production, with 8 cores possible.

We continue to strengthen our position in the high brightness LED market, says Matt Mede, Thermal Technology president and CEO. Spending time at customers facilities throughout the world, I see our competitors sapphire tools unplugged and pushed aside, while ours are in production. The K1s quality output speaks for itself.

As Thermal Technology completes sapphire growth protocol transfer at its customers facilities, K1 sapphire production has increased noticeably with customers producing large, high quality boules and reporting yields of 4200mm TIE.

Over recent decades, LED lighting technology has developed and commercialized to the point that LEDs are replacing incandescent light bulbs in common lighting applications. Refined LED technology has led to the development of high brightness LEDs (HB LED) used in electronic display backlighting and other high tech applications. Producing HB LED requires higher quality, single sapphire substrate.Thermal Technologys ModelK1crystal grower is intended for HB LED substrate production.

To satisfy the demand of the growing high quality sapphire market, Thermal Technology has successfully tripled their Santa Rosa, California manufacturing facility.Thermal Technology is a global manufacturer of advance thermal processing systems, including crystal growth equipment, high temperaturelaboratory and production furnaces, hot presses and spark plasma as well as direct current sintering systems. Thermal Technology has 60 years of experience with more than 3000 installations in 40 countries.
