On May 24, 2013, a class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of purchasers or investor who otherwise acquired ATP Notes traceable to the December 16, 2010 exchange by the company of $1.6 billion of notes. The case was filed in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana, docket no. 13-cv-3935. The Complaint alleges that the ATP Notes were issued while the company concealed two moratoriums on deep water drilling issued by the U.S. Department of Interior, which devastated the companys business and revenues.

On August 17, 2012, the Company filed for bankruptcy in the Southern District of Texas, case number 12-36187.

The investigation concerns the alleged investment advisor and sales to investors in the ATP Notes by brokerage firms to their customers. According to stock fraud attorney Jake Zamansky, the ATP Notes were high risk and speculative investments that were not suitable or appropriate for any conservative investors seeking fixed income. ITHACA, N.Y. U.S. intelligence agents like the embattled Edward Snowden are more prone to irrational inconsistencies in decision making when compared to college students and post-college adults. Thats according a new Cornell University study to be published in an upcoming issue of the journal Psychological Science.

The study found intelligence agents exhibited larger biases on 30 gain-loss framing decisions, and were also more confident in those decisions. Thirty-six agents were recruited for the study from an anonymous federal agency, and were presented with scenarios such as:

- The U.S. is preparing for the outbreak of an unusual disease, which is expected to kill 600 people. Do you: Save 200 people for sure, or choose the option with 1/3 probability that 600 will be saved and a 2/3 probability no one will be saved?

- In the same scenario, do you pick the option where 400 will surely die, or instead a 2/3 probability that all 600 will die and a 1/3 probability no one dies?

The results showed agents treated equivalent outcomes differently based on superficial wording. They were more willing than college students to take risks with human lives when outcomes were framed as losses.

These results shed light on the decision-making mechanisms of intelligence agents who identify and mitigate risks to national security, said Valerie Reyna, Cornell professor of human development and psychology, and lead author of the study. Like some other laboratory gambling tasks, framing effects have been shown to predict real-world behavior, Reyna added.

Reyna also said these results suggest that meaning and context play a larger role in risky decision-making as experts gain experience. That experience can enhance performance, but also has predictable pitfalls.

May 23, 2013 - Hendren Group, the international global investment company based in Tokyo, Japan, have recently issued a statement to their investors outlining the various advantages of including Tesla shares as part of a well-balanced portfolio.

Hendren Group Head of Principle Investments, Marcus Davis said, In a surprise move Tesla Motors Chief Elon Musk has once again achieved an important milestone by following the example of Lee Iacocca, who 30 years ago as Chryslers CEO repaid a controversial U.S. bailout early. This goes a long way toward silencing the old school thinking of placing green high tech start ups all in a class not to be taken seriously at and at the same time cements the beginning of long term growth for Tesla.

Hendren Group reflect of Iacoccas 1983 repayment of Chryslers U.S. loans seven years early have skeptics who seem to have made their reputations speaking against anything that might be green or groundbreaking reassessing their views. While it is a good comparison, they are about two different situations.

Tesla has proven its self to be the winner in the race, however the Hendren Group will still be keeping a close eye on Fisker as two companies make bids to buy the company, surprisingly for the same amount Tesla paid back to the US Government.

It is plain to see that the first alternative auto with reliability, excellent range and convenience coupled with a competitive price will prove to be more profit producing than the dot com era for the deserving company who reaches this lofty plateau. Tesla is about to come into sight of the finish line. We feel there are many paths available to our investors allowing them to see solid advantages returned for their effort. Hendren Group Head of Principle Investments, Marcus Davis said and then went on to say There will be a backlash caused by general feelings universally held by people who have grown to expect higher and higher prices at the Gas pump and increasing prices for new cars. In their view they have been gauged unfairly, many now looking for the alternative from the requirement of petroleum fuel.

Till the time we are able to define the mind scientifically we can say that the self image is the mind. Mind education can be none other than self image education; at least for the time being. The main factor is that we do not need to know exactly what the mind is to educate the mind into becoming +2 super mature.

However self image education must be introduced on it's own accord. It is the quality of the self image that determines the quality of the emotional intelligence. Thus emotional intelligence education is self image education. Isn't it amazing that the self image is the litmus test of a super mature mind and yet the self image as a subject that needs to be studied, researched and taught is totally missing.

It is astounding how our experts have missed the importance of educating the self image; after all educating the self image is educating the mind.

All the human made mess in society is due to emotionally challenged behavior which is caused by the impure/phony/defective self image. Educating the self image into becoming the pure self will take away most of the man made mess and will make the whole society wise.

Thus the main factor is that we do not need to know exactly what the mind is to educate the mind into becoming +2 super mature. All we need to do is educate the self image and we will be educating the mind.

It is about time our text book writers and our experts introduced self image as a topic in psychology education. And a whole new bunch of researchers must take up researching the self image; what it is and how each and every self image can be transformed into becoming the pure self.

Over 700 public and private sector individuals participated in establishing the Standards and Procedures of this rigid certification review. The goal of the certification program is to streamline the certification process and increase the ability of women business owners to compete for contracts at a national level.

"Certification provides a marketing opportunity for women business enterprises to participate in outreach programs," says Francina Price-Pace, Chief Operating Officer. "In addition, this program will enable us to develop relationships with larger companies and create opportunities for future partnerships with them and public and private companies."

"NWBOC seeks to increase the ability of women business owners to compete for corporate and government contracts," says Janet Harris-Lange, President of NWBOC. "At the same time, NWBOC also hopes to decrease the number of front operations participating in corporate and government outreach programs."

NWBOC, a national 5013 not-for-profit corporation, was created in response to needs identified by the Procurement Special Interest Group of the National Association of Women Business Owners. The study revealed that the public and private sector had not received nor recognized the benefits of contracting with women suppliers. This has prevented purchasers from obtaining the best value in their procurement and it has limited women business owners from penetrating these markets, which has stymied their growth. NWBOC seeks to provide more corporations with the opportunity to better their procurement practices and to women suppliers the opportunity to compete.

The Loan Love article gives this mortgage rate lock advice: In a market where you arent sure whether rates will fall or not, you might choose to float your rate. That means that although you lock in the rate when you make an application, the lender will adjust the rate to any lower interest rate that occurs while your application is being processed. Of course, if rates rise, in most cases the rate will float upward with them. Since points also typically fall with interest rates, some lenders also allow points to rise and fall during the application process.

The need comes on the heels of reports from around the country of first responders being injured in the line of duty.

In Florida alone, approximately 18,000 drivers received tickets for violating the "move over" law last year, which requires drivers to move one lane over when approaching a stopped emergency vehicle or slow to 20mph.
