A therapy called TACE (Tran Arterial Chemo Embolization) can improve the survival times for patients with HCC, especially for patients who cannot undergo surgery or whose tumors have not led to major vascular thrombosis. As per studies, radiotherapy has emerged as a more promising solution to the HCC treatment conundrum, and is becoming a more commonly used modality for HCC.
