Delicious Octopus Yoga Announces Weekend Yoga and Rock Climbing Retreats

Get ready to rock. Get ready to retreat. The Red River Gorge, home of world class rock climbing, is also the perfect setting for a yoga retreat. The Kentucky Rock and Adventure Guides are teaming up with Delicious Octopus Yoga Retreats to provide just that. Students get to learn up to date climbing techniques coupled with yoga philosophy and postures. Incorporating yoga and rock climbing techniques together can exponentially deepen awareness, courage, and strength.

Participants can expect to be guided by licensed instructors who will teach them how to safely practice yoga and rock climbing in the present moment. With the help of meditation and relaxation techniques, the fear of heights is diminished. They will also practice energy conservation and balancing techniques. The goal of the retreat is to allow participants the opportunity to apply the tools learned rock climbing to all areas of their life.
