Barobo Inc., an innovator of educational robots, today announces the launch of the Linkbot, a new educational robot, at the Maker Faire Bay Area. The company expects attendees from all ages to create with the Linkbot at their booth (#404). The companys Kickstarter will coincide with the Maker Faire debut of the Linkbot.

The Linkbot bridges the gap between toy robots and more advanced hackable kits. The Linkbot lets anyone from hardcore hackers to kids to create with robots. The Linkbot serves as a powerful educational application of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculum.

Were thrilled to be part of this years Maker Faire and get Linkbots into peoples hands. said Graham Ryland, CEO and co-founder of Barobo. I cant think of a better place to introduce a new way of creating with robots than the Make Community. Its a great chance to see how people respond to this new way of creating with robots.

The Linkbot was designed to be easy and engaging for students, while still offering the hackability advanced users want.

With the Linkbot, we have created a modular robot that grows in functionality with your ability.

Product Details:
The Linkbot can pair with other modules wirelessly and there are several modes which allows the user program with their hands on the robot instead of a computer. Snap connectors let users attach Linkbots to each other or accessories to create an infinite numbers of robot configurations.
