Metro America Supply Chain Solutions Appoints New Business Development Executive

Metro America Supply Chain Solutions, part of Metro Supply Chain Group, a leading supply chain and logistics solutions provider in North America, today announced the appointment of Brian Saucier as the Vice President of Business Development, Major Contracts. Reporting to James Kitz, Vice President, Business Development and General Manager, this marks an important step in the development of the business with the building of a team able to better serve its U.S. customers.

Over the past twenty years, Mr. Saucier has held key positions within leading logistics companies and brings broad-based experience in both business development and industrial engineering. His background includes development and solutions experience with Ceva Logistics, DB Schenker, USCO Logistics, and Caliber.

Brians appointment will substantially help our focus for growth in the US market, supported by Metros well-known brand and results in Canada, said Martin Graham, President of the Metro Supply Chain Group, Canadas second largest provider of third-party logistics services. Extending Metros management team and operating solutions into the US market will result in efficiencies and improved value for our customers.

Mr. Saucier will be based in Mandeville, Louisiana and report through the Metro America Supply Chain Solutions office in Dallas, Texas.
