Scientel GENSONIX NoSQL DB Handles Trillions of Records for Billions of Customers in Big Data Applications

GENSONIX Enterprise NoSQL DataBase Management Systems (DBMS) can now support transaction DBs of MULTI-TRILLIONS of records, incorporating several TRILLIONs of transaction data elements organized in a distributed scalable structured table. GENSONIX Enterprise DB can perform the equivalent of a join of BILLIONS of customer data rows with TRILLIONS of transactions. Systems configured with GENSONIX can be cost-effectively used to solve TRILLIONS-SCALE structured Big Data issues in both business and scientific environmentsat ultrafast processing speeds, and with extremely high accuracy/reliability. GENSONIX NoSQL DB includes maximum support for transaction-level processing of standard data along with large volumes of unstructured data.

When processing structured data with GENSONIX NoSQL DBMS, the DB administrator has several choices in structuring relational schema under GENSONIX. GENSONIX support of rowid processing allows the user tremendous savings on 1:1 and 1:N tables by eliminating duplicated keys and indices in each of the additional tables. In an example of two tables of over 2 Trillion rows, the primary table has an overhead of about 103 TB comprising of 51TB for index and 52 TB for data. The secondary table however saves the 51 TB index structure as well as a 16 TB key overhead, adding to a total savings of about 67 TB. This computes to a savings of over 36% when compared to the SQL equivalent structures which would have totaled to about 184TB compared to the Gensonix size of 117TB. This does not include a join table of the two tables which would have required an additional 168 TB. Since Gensonix NoSQL DB does not require a join table, the total difference between the Gensonix DB size of 117TB vs. the SQL DB size of 368 TB is about 251TB or over 214%. This tremendous storage and management advantage makes it possible to perform real time processing of true Big Data under GENSONIX.

In general, Scientel GENSONIX NoSQL DBMS can handle ALL types of datastructured/unstructured; records/objects; indexed/non-indexed. Due to the support of relational tables (in addition to other schema types) GENSONIX DBs can import relational tables from SQL DBs without re-working the schema. In that sense, they are SQL compatible; they can partition/process mainline SQL structured Big Data via ETL, or on a direct/standalone basis. GENSONIX DBs can perform Multi-Million Transactions per Second and can scale to very large numbers of compute nodes and CPU cores e.g., 1000s. High uptime/system reliability; low system/data center TCO; ultrafast intake/processing speeds; and Petabyes of storage are inherent to the design/implementation of GENSONIX NoSQL DB systems. Large Data Warehouse Appliance (LDWA) environments using custom ultrahigh speed or commodity h/w and advanced architectures are also integral parts of Scientel offerings. GENSONIX is UNIX/LINUX-based, and provides compatibilityincluding intranet support for true Windowing--with Apple/Windows systems.

About Scientel Information Technology, Inc.

Scientel Information Technology, Inc. is a U.S.-based, international, systems technology company, operational since 1977. Scientel also designs/produces highly-optimized high end servers, which can be bundled with its "GENSONIX ENTERPRISE" DBMS software, as a single-source supplier of complete systems for Big Data environments. GENSONIX NoSQL DBMS was released in 2003, the 1st NoSQL DB in the market for mainline structured data management. Scientel also customizes hardware and software for specific applications resulting in higher performance.

Scientel's specialty is advanced NoSQL DBMS design and applications/systems integration for advanced business processes. This includes various applications for Big Data in BI and Visual Analytics environments. Scientel also provides IT consulting, support, etc., along with beyond mainframe-level Large Data Warehouse Appliance hardware/systems.

GENSONIX allows very user-friendly data manipulation capabilities found in standard, SQL-based, database management systems, but it goes beyond. IT IS TRULY AN "ALL-IN-1 SQL"--an All Data Management System in the form of an ultra-flexible, NoSQL DBMS of perfectly general capabilities and application potentials. It can also function in concert with mainline SQL systems to efficiently handle both structured and unstructured data as a large data warehouse repository. However, it can handle heavy database loads by itself with the aid of the GENSONIX NSQL query/procedural language. GENSONIX supports both telnet as well as http interfaces. GENSONIX is capable of handling TRILLIONS of rows/transactions for BILLIONS of customers, which is a HUGE advantage in truly Big Data structured applications.

Business customers can take advantage of Scientels capabilities in advanced Business Intelligence and Visual Data Analytics to grow their business by handling Big Data more cost-effectively and with greater insights to remain competitive. Scientific, government, and similar organizations can use these capabilities to efficiently process Big Data, instead of being swamped by it.

Big Data analytics requires the right hardware and NoSQL DBMS; GENSONIX is such a NoSQL DB which provides both efficiencies.
