AmeriPride Services Inc., a leading supplier of linen and uniform rental services in North America, announced today that its Minneapolis location is among the first commercial laundry facilities worldwide to earn TRSAs Hygienically Clean Healthcare designation, verifying that textiles cleaned in the plant meet hygiene standards appropriate for medical facilities.
The Minneapolis facility joins a small handful of laundry facilities that have achieved this milestone. In November, AmeriPrides Twin Falls laundry was the first ever to reach this certification.

To attain the certification, a commercial laundry must adhere to quality standards for its equipment, operations and personnel and undergo third-party biological testing of laundered products. Upon successful implementation of these criteria, a facility must then undergo a rigorous onsite inspection by an independent auditor selected by TRSA. AmeriPride Minneapolis is one of the first TRSA member organizations to fully pass inspection.
