Corente Joins the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center

Corente, Inc., the developers of a leading cloud based, IT services virtualization platform announced today that it has joined the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MPSC) located on the Redmond campus in Bldg. 25. As an MPSC partner, Corente will be able to develop a new set of solutions based on the integration of Corentes leading SDN for the WAN with Microsofts server products and cloud offerings. Corente now has access to Microsoft teams, technical support and training, as well a lab environment for development of state-of-the-art offers, testing and integration. A full deployment of the Corente Virtual Services Exchange (VSE) will be located directly on the Microsoft campus at the MPSC.

An alliance between Corente and Microsoft will match the network endpoint virtualization technologies of Corente with the Microsoft ecosystem, giving it an edge in the race to virtualize the complete business services creation and delivery lifecycle. It will also enable Corente, Microsoft and their partners to develop offers that integrate Corentes global networking capabilities with their existing and new solutions, such as Lync and Office 365, among others.

Corentes presence in the MPSC will give Corente the opportunity to work closely with the Microsoft teams to develop cloud based offers that deliver value to Microsoft and its customers. Corente will have the ability to build integrated offers with Microsoft and their partners using the latest in global networking technologies, said David Hayes, Senior Director, Microsoft Partner Solutions Center.

The Corente VSE is a fully automated, software-based platform that decouples a virtual services network from the physical network hardware, across any carrier or ISP network. The application services are defined, encapsulated, managed and delivered through an intelligent, secure, and automated virtual services layer. Corentes virtualization innovation doesnt stop with abstraction, isolation and automation for service connections. Importantly, it extends to include an automated set of governance and service life cycle management capabilities that are critical to solving the problems of complexity and high labor costs of the traditional project-oriented solutions.
