Smolich Nissan will soon be selling the more Efficient and Fun 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid

BEND, Oregon - The 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid is making its way to the Bend, Oregon, area. Customers will be able to purchase the Pathfinder Hybrid at Smolich Nissan (smolichnissan.com) by the end of this summer. It offers the same refinement, cutting-edge technology and family friendly features as previous models, but now with increased fuel economy of a hybrid powertrain.
Even with the hybrid powertrain, the Pathfinder will still be the perfect family adventure vehicle, but now with some added green technology. The 2.5 liter gas engine is combined with an electric motor and a compact Lithium-ion battery. These components work simultaneously to provide a powerful 250 horsepower, 243 pound-feet of torque and up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity.
The Pathfinder Hybrid uses the latest regenerative braking system to recharge the battery and an Intelligent Dual Clutch System that manages the power efficiently. All of this technology is combined to provided 25 mpg city, 27 mpg highway and 26 mpg combined, which is a 24%increase over the gasoline powered Pathfinder. The driving range has been estimated at more than 526 miles.
In addition to the new powertrain, the Pathfinder Hybrid has undergone some design and styling tweaks. It features distinct LED taillights, wide, muscular fenders, and a strong, stable stance. It also features chrome accents for an upscale appeal. The interior of the Pathfinder Hybrid includes a variety of family friendly features such as heated and cooled seats, Intelligent Key with Push Button Start, Bose Audio System and Sirius XM Radio. These are just a few of the long list of features available for the Pathfinder Hybrid.
